I'm a crappy gardener. I found some bulbs of some kind or other lying on a shelf in a storage room. Apparently I had intended to plant these at some time, but just...didn't. I noticed the tiniest bud of green trying to pop out, and thought, "Huh! These things have life in them."
It reminded me of John 12:24. "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit."
The Eternal Life in you and me is not meant to be a still life on a shelf or a church pew.
Plant. Grow. Bear fruit.
(Incidentally, the painting was done over a flow painting done by my grandkiddos and me. The original flow painting shows through the stained glass windows.)
