I know Easter was last week, but I can't stop thinking about it. Jesus' resurrection used to be for me sort of a spectator sport, cheering for the Hero as He conquers the grave (Yay, Jesus!) But since I have been understanding more about The Rescue (see Colossians 1:13), I am now cheering as a participant. Easter weekend is the PIVOT POINT where Jesus picked me up on His way back to exaltation. I am a former P.O.W., set free and on the way home.
